Proud Official Sponsors of the 2010 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship

The Swan brand will be lighting up the British Superbike Championship for a third consecutive year and with the 2010 season now underway it already has all the hallmarks of a thriller.

Swan are even more prominent in BSB this season after joining forces with SMR to form the Swan Honda team. The team have a formidable force with riders James Ellison and Stuart Easton; the pair finished second and third in last year’s standings respectively.

They are sure to take the challenge to the Worx Crescent Suzuki team of Tommy Hill who took the early advantage in the title chase alongside Yukio Kagayama, plus Honda rivals HM Plant who has Ryuichi Kiyonari and Josh Brookes lining up on the grid for them. Then there are upcoming stars such as Tommy Bridewell (Quay Garage Honda), Simon Andrews (MSS Colchester Kawasaki), Alastair Seeley (Relentless Suzuki by TAS) and Dan Linfoot (Motorpoint Yamaha) all keen to make their mark on the championship.

A highlight at every round of the championship is the Swan Roll for Pole qualifying shootout, as all the riders go head-to-head in a three-stage knockout format that decides the grid for the opening BSB race of the weekend.

BSB remains widely regarded as the toughest domestic bike racing championship in the world, so this season is set to be another epic battle between the top riders for the 2010 title.
